About Me
Hello!! My name is Ongani, I am 31 years old, a wife and a mother of 3 children, 2 twins which are in heaven Luka and Kehlani and our rainbow baby Mia Isabella, the Heart of the Home. I love cooking and experimenting with food, I also love being at home serving my family and raising our daughter.
Being a homemaker is more than just managing a household—it’s about creating a warm, loving environment where family members are happy just being at home. My journey as a homemaker has been filled with challenges, growth, and countless moments of joy. Homemaking is our God given commandment. “I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully”. 1 Timothy 5:14

The Role of a Homemaker
A homemaker wears many hats—chef, cleaner, teacher, nurse, and organizer—all rolled into one. Every day is different, bringing new tasks and unexpected situations that require patience and adaptability. From preparing meals to maintaining a peaceful atmosphere at home, my role is essential in keeping my family’s life running smoothly.
Finding Joy in Everyday Tasks
Some may see homemaking as a routine, but I find joy in the little things. Cooking a delicious meal, decorating a cozy living space, or simply having a meaningful conversation with a family member brings immense satisfaction. These moments remind me why I love what I do.
Like any role, being a homemaker comes with its challenges. Managing household finances, keeping up with chores, and ensuring everyone’s well-being can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, I have learned to stay organized, set routines, and take moments for myself to recharge. Despite the hard work, being a homemaker is incredibly rewarding. Watching my loved ones grow, succeed, and feel at home in the space I create makes everything worthwhile. If you are a homemaker, know that your work is valuable. Take pride in your role, embrace each day with gratitude.
Being a homemaker is a beautiful journey—one filled with love, dedication, and purpose. It’s not just a job; it’s a way of life.
